Island of Kauai

This charming gallery, situated in a historic plantation-style home on a beautifully landscaped acre in Old Koloa Town, specializes in brilliant watercolors of Hawai‘i’s unique native flowers by Hawaiian artist and author Alan Akana. Many paintings are of rare and endangered species endemic to the Hawaiian Islands, some found only on Kaua‘i, including blossoms rarely seen. Beautifully framed original pieces of art and museum quality giclées, greeting cards, books and other items are available for sale. Profits support the maintenance and care of the Smith Memorial Parsonage and grounds, where the gallery and artist’s studio are located: 3281 Waikomo Road, just off Po‘ipu Road. Call or go online for hours or to make an appointment.
