Island of Maui

Founded 25 years ago, Ki‘i Gallery was born from a lifetime affection and dedication to fine art. Locally owned and operated by John & Susan Sweitzer, Ki‘i, which means image and petroglyph in Hawaiian, seemed a perfect name for an art gallery in Hawai‘i. Here, you’ll find one of the island’s most comprehensive and finest collections of Tahitian and South Sea pearl jewelry, as well as premier Fine Art Glass from all over the world. The beautiful Organic Jellyfish Art Glass Sculptures are created to accurately reproduce the jellyfish species from local Maui waters. Producing a soft, comforting glow when lit on the light bases that are specially designed to illuminate these special pieces day or night, each jellyfish is signed and dated by the artist. The Woven Whalers “Unbreakable Knot” bracelet line by local artist Maile Kealoha is based on the 19th century whalers’ art of knots and weaves. Maile lovingly recreates these historical designs here on Maui, using precious metals for a unique treasure you can cherish for a lifetime… Looking for one-of-a-kind wearable art? Ki‘i Gallery features vintage Japanese Kimono Textile Cuff Bracelets, handcrafted using kimono textiles— some are over 100 years old! With a huge spectrum of unique designs and color combinations, no two bracelets are the same, and will provide enjoyment for years to come.
