Island of Kauai

Born in Ha‘ena on Kaua‘i’s spectacular north shore, Moses “Mo” Hamilton is inspired by the rainbow of Hawai‘i’s natural beauty, its ethnic diversity and the history and music of these beautifully unique islands. Self-taught, Moses rediscovered his passion for art and started painting by mouth after an accident in 2002 left him paralyzed. He paints with emotion in an expressive and loose style, using bold colors to create strong and colorful pieces of art inspired by his love of Hawai‘i and its people. He works mostly in acrylics and is exploring other mediums. MO’SART can be found at: Koloa Rum Co. in Kilohana Plantation, Patrick Ching Gallery in Princeville Shopping Center, and Robin Savage’s Gift and Gourmet store in Hanalei’s Ching Young Village.
