Island of Kauai

What could be more tropical and romantic than Rodgers & Hammerstein’s legendary musical SOUTH PACIFIC? Many movies have been filmed on Kaua‘i, but none have been as popular as the 1950s film version, which starred Mitzi Gaynor and Rossano Brazzi. It’s the movie that brought Hollywood to Kaua‘i. Today, Kaua‘i has brought back the live stage production (based on the original Broadway show). It includes all the favorite songs such as “I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair,” “Bali Ha‘i,” “There is Nothin’ like a Dame,” and many more. Produced by Alain Dussaud and the Hawai‘i Association of Performing Arts, the show features a stellar local cast, and a dinner buffet is included. Now one of the most popular and longest running shows on the island! Enchanted Evenings are available every Wednesday night at the Kaua‘i Beach Resort.
