Island of Maui

The family that brought molten glass to Maui… Worcester Glassworks in Kula is one of the most sophisticated glass shops in Hawai‘i. Their artistry evolving over four decades, Bill and Sally Worcester have mastered the chemistry, color and mechanics of this rare art form. This self-taught duo, along with their son, Mike and his wife Kelly, blow and shape soft glass using simple hand tools such as stainless blowpipes, wooden blocks, scissors and optic molds to create different patterns with colored glass. The family synergy is evident in the studio where they all create their own, unique free form designs. Delight in the luminous collection of original, one-of-a-kind sculptures, platters, paperweights, vases and bowls. The Worcester Family invites you to visit their Studio and Gallery 10am to 5pm Mon-Sat, Sundays by appointment. Turn up hill onto Lower Kula Rd. at the sign to Holy Ghost Church, the studio is two doors down from Kula Bistro.
